Physical Properties:

- These balloons are configured in such a way that they must be flown in accordance with the regulations laid out in 14 CFR Part 101 Subpart D when used in the United States.
- Outside the united states when operating in accordance with the regulations laid out in the ICAO Rules of the Air Annex 2 these balloons are configured to be used as “medium” or “heavy” mass systems and cannot be used as “light” systems.
- Maximum Float Altitude: 75,000 ft (22.25 km)
- Float altitude depends on lift gas type and hook-on mass. See chart below.
- Total balloon system mass: 17.63 lbs (8 Kg)
- This mass does not include the ballaster, dispensible ballast or any payload.
